Advocate

The United Way of Greater Hazleton believes that standing up for our community requires us to come together and unite our voices to advocate for important changes at all levels—local, state, and federal.

Whether it’s working with school boards and educators to combat absenteeism, encouraging state lawmakers to invest more in education, social services, or 2-1-1, or mobilizing for a cause both in person and online, every action can make a difference.

As a leader in fostering community engagement, the United Way is giving individuals the tools and platform to speak out and take action on the issues that matter most.

Together, we will fight for the rights and well-being of children, families, veterans, seniors, and those facing illness or disability. We will be a voice for the voiceless, a beacon of hope for those who are lost, and a source of strength for those most in need.
